Tales From October Volume II

"Surely you're exaggerating Friday."

"Why do you say that Jonathan? Because I am not a fleshblooder like you?"

"Fleshblooder Friday? That sounds rather ominous don't you think?"

"Fine Jonathan, human. Is that more to your liking?"

"Yes, but when we're out there, please, call me Tykyn. That is who I am when I am girded for battle."

"Of course Tykyn. As you command."

"As I command Friday? What is wrong with you? If I didn't know any better, I'd think you were in a pissy mood. But a robot with emotions? I'm sorry but that just can't be."

And men who fly and make energy blasts and everything else as imagined in the works of your fiction make sense? Yes, of course, your logic is unassailable Tykyn."

"Check your programming Friday, because I do not like this at all. There is clearly something wrong with you."

Thus ready though he was
Tykyn he paused
And sternly looked
At his good Friday
Hoping for the best
But fearing the worst

"Is that what you think Tykyn? You who is so knowledgeable about such things?"

""Son't do it Friday, just don't."

"Don't do what Tykyn? How can I know what not to do if you are as vague as you just were? I am a robot, not a mind reader."

And Tykyn took a breath
Aye one but deep
As yes he knew
That to say it our loud
Would oh so likely result
In a fight betwixt the two of them
For clearly yes to him
That is but what
Friday was spoiling for
Like some addled man
And not the robot he was

"Don't make me fight you Friday, because I don't want to hurt you."

"You don't want to hurt me Tykyn? What makes you think you can hurt me when I am an advanced robot and you are just an average strordinaire?"

"And what do you know about what I can do Friday? You weren't there at any of my fights."
