Then hit but hard he was
By a beam of light
From that-a-way
Which is to say
It blindsided him
And sent him to the Earth
Yes plummeting at a speed
Where his landing would make him bleed
But not was the plan
Of the attacking man
To hit him hard
And leave it thus
No he wanted more than that
Oh yes he did
So came another beam
That slowed him yes
For time enough
To but deploy
The stupid catching net
Aye the very words
The nefarian spoke
In anger to
Henchman Bob
Who had unenviable job
Of serving a master
Such as his
"Damn it Bob, did you or did you not make sure everything was working properly?"
"Didn't I?"
"No, you did not, or the net would have already deployed and I would have that fool strordinaire in my brilliantly designed catching net. But I don't and you're to blame for this."
And Bob but dumbly stared
While Streede angrily glared
Wanting oh so much
To have around
Men who hopped to it
Like he'd always imagined
That it should be
In service of men like him
