But what of Terri, who it feels like I haven't seen or thought of in forever, but I know that is not true, because we just talked on the phone a couple of days ago and that we will see each other next week. And yet, it does feel like so much longer. And I can never remember feeling like that before I became a strordinaire. So a very curious thing indeed.
I wonder if any of the strodinaires of the first age ever felt like that? A pity there aren't any of them around anymore.
"I wouldn't be so sure about that Jonathan."
And Jonathan all but jumped out of his seat as Friday grew to normal size, catching him off guard, as was seemingly, his wont.
"Stop doing that Friday, it's annoying being scared by your helper robot. And yes, I realize how odd it sounds to hear myself saying it, but so it is."
"My apologies Jonathan, it must be a flaw in my programming, I'll look at it when I get a chance to. But I've been searching for any of the first agers and I think I may have found at least one that remains."
"Remains? Remains with powers, or just remains period?"
"Well Jonathan, that is what we should find out don't you think?"
"Yes, we should."
"Good then, shall we go now? Unless you have something more important to do, like look for another job, as the one you have is indeed over, they just haven't told you."
"No, now is good."
