Peace

Welcome is the peace

That follows in the wake

Of different strivings

And wished dreams

As two see beyond

To the wanted same

 

And as they do

The sun comes out

From behind

The gathered clouds

And smiles replace

Saddened eyes

 

And now

In this good peace

The best of theirs

Can be that again
