"But I need your help now. I can't face this bully alone again."
And he looked as if to cry
The poor poor boy
In need of a hero
Oh so badly
That Jonathan knew
His pain would have to wait
His duty but called him louder
"You won't have to face him alone again. I'm here now and I'll help you put an end to his bullying once and for all."
"Thank you." And the boy said it so softly this time, it was more a half whisper than an expression of gratitude.
"Lead on son, it's time for that bully to leave you alone now."
"It's Jonah. Call me Jonah, please." And the boy looked up at Jonathan, sheepish for what seemed to him like a snappy correction.
Jonathan smiled. "Please forgive me Jonah, that is your name, not son."
And Jonah smiled. "And yours?"
"Tykyn, call me Tykyn." Though as he said it, it still felt a bit odd to his ears, especially since he had just failed in his first fight as Tykyn.
