Did You Think

 

Did you think

That gone I was

With those flowing words

That come of my best

Oh poetry

 

Or did you know

In the pit of your stomach

That I'd be back

Tonight today

To write me some

 

Sadly for those

Of the pitted feel

As opposed

To the hopeful more

I'll be blogging for

Years to come

 

And soon not yet

More than that

As my words will reach

A wider group

 

Did you think

That gone I was

With those flowing words

Well silly you

If that you were

For I am a writer

Through and through
